I like the looks of some of the revolvers coming from ARMSCOR, but when I read about the guns their own website it reminds me of the descriptions and directions you get with items from China. Broken english, wrong words used in the wrong places, descriptions that don't even make sense. In other words, if I bought one I'd feel like I was getting a cheap knock-off from China. No thanks.

ARMSCOR manufactures reloading components, or has its name associated with them. Taking a 147 grain rifle bullet, recently purchased in a bulk purchase, the variation in lengths were several thousandth of an inch one way or another, and the the weight varied from 146.9 to 149.5 grains. Most bullets did not make it into the 146.9 to 147.5 category which would have deemed them acceptable by the WORST military standards. Weighing 1000 individual bullets into reloadable and safe lots is a huge amount of work.

My first three Rock Island firearms; a 1911 in 45, a 1911 in 22tcm and a bolt carbine in 22tcm were solid and functioned well. I have been quite satisfied with them. BUT, my most recent acquisition, a MAPP polymer framed pistol in 22tcm9r has been a huge disappointment! In the first 150 rounds fired a full 20% of the cases had to be knocked out with a cleaning rod! There is a major problem with quality control in either the ammunition, pistol or both.. I cleaned the pistol after the first hundred rounds and made sure it was well lubed, but that offered no improvement.
Some of the rounds chambered easily and others seemed oversized.. many of the case necks appeared rough as though the brass were not chamfered prior to loading...
I am open to suggestions??

Bought a 1911 and a bolt carbine in 22tcm and was greatly pleased with both.. so I was quite excited when I saw a MAPP pistol in 22tcm9r. Bought it and couldn’t wait to take it to the range! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! 150 rounds fired with at least 20% sticking in the chamber so badly that they had to be knocked free with a cleaning rod.. major quality control issue with either the pistol or the ammunition.

Bought a rock island xtm , 22 mag. This pistol won't even fire armscor ammo. It has failed to eject at least fifty rounds . And at over 700 rounds fired ,it now will not cycle at all. Still using their own ammo. Seven times I had to manually remove the casing from the chamber and reload the stove piped cartridge. This gun is four days old and I consider it to be the worse firearm I have ever dealt with. This gun, I would deem , to be unsafe and poorly made. It is very clear why most gun stores do not carry Rock Island. I cannot label them all, but this one is garbage. It is too bad, because it shoots very, very well, when it shoots and that isn't very often.
