2005 or so...I was all ready to buy a Bushmaster. This guy I was shooting with talked up the Rock River. I bought one and never looked back. Great accuracy, great ergonomics,
great weapon. I've had 2 now and I love 'em! Great value for the money, too!

Wed. Sept 8 I checked with the company to see if a standard A-4 LAR- 8 was available for shipment, was told yes. So on the 11 I ordered one per instructions never seen rifle called company was told they only build them as ordered & would be about March 2021 before one was available. So I was lied to about availability, person I talked to was rude. It appears company doesn't manufacture anything only assembles. I could have ordered parts & assembled it myself as is very simple for less money & had a rifle. I should have ordered a Springfield Armory M1A better rifle only more money & had rifle. I have a few rifles from them but wont order any more. They don't stand by their warranty as advertised always say it was something I had done, funny two rifles didn't work right from the start IE: don't test products. Save yourself headaches go for quality & availability from someone else. WAITING FOR WHAT WAS AVAILABLE IE: BIG JOKE

About Sept.8 I called Rock River Firearms about the availability of the Standard A4 Lar-8 rifle. I was told by the agent they were available for shipping, to me this means in stock & would be shipped. This was a lie as I had ordered one 9/11 & found later they didn't have parts to complete a build & were only built upon an order. I was told by them that the rifle might be shipped in 90 days or much longer. It seems they don't manufacture anything they just assemble a firearm out of parts they get from other manufactures, hell I could have done that myself & had a rifle. Had I not been lied to about the availability of such I would have ordered a Springfield Armory M1A & had it, more money but most likely a better rifle. I have some of their rifles BUT I wont get any more after this incident. They are a piss pore company to do business with & after this lie people should not buy anything from them. Service is the name of the game to me & I don't like being lied to. TO ALL LOOKING TO BUY A FIREARM FROM THEM DONT, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY & DONT PROVIDE THE PRODUCT. I think they should be investigated by the federal govt. for fraudulent advertising.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention that 1911’s are available in 9mm and that the 1911’s come with an accuracy guarantee along with their rifles. When you work the slide on the 1911’s it feels like it’s on ball bearings.

Owning 4 LAR's from Rock RIver, I feel quite qualified to comment on RRA products. I have a Coyote Carbine, a 20" Varmint with the round RRA float tube, Entry Carbine which I have upgraded the trigger to the RRA Varmint trigger, and an LAR-8. ALL of these rifles will shoot sub MOA groups with the right ammunition. They ALL are capable of shooting a single bug hole at 100 yards, if you do your part. The fit and finish of these rifles is nothing short of exemplary. I would highly recommend the RRA rifles over anything on the market short of custom build such as Les Baer or the likes. Having fired literally millions of rounds through the AR platform, USMC military career etc, I truly believe the RRA AR's and something I would take into combat any day with the utmost confidence. You OWE it to yourself to look into the RRA line of products!!
