Had a new PMR30 explode in my hands with less than 200 rounds fired. Kel Tec knew there was a problem with them firing out of battery but did not do a recall. They do not stand behind their product and their customer service is terrible. General Manager told me they would repair my pistol and I would be 100% satisfied or I would get my money back. They repaired it and when I shot it I had back to back failures to fire, Hammer struck but no marks on the cartridges. I sent it back and they would not refund the total amount I paid. If you look on the web sites you will find multiple sites telling you how to make your PMR30 work properly. This should be an indication of how poorly they function. I have also found that I am not the only one to have their gun explode. Kel Kec does not care about the public’s safety only the money.

I have a PMR-30 that I bought used, where can I reference the serial number to find out if I need to get the updated barrel?
