Bought this small arms this month. I performed a dry run using 15 9mm snap caps. It performed well. Yes, the trigger pull had some weight but after 4th 15 rounds, I got used to the weight that it did not bother me at all. However, I will buy a trigger kit and take it to a local Gun Smith to remove and install a new trigger. No issues during my dry fires.
Love this pistol . Very light and easy to handle. What is that red and yellow pieces of material that crossed over each other in the forward part of the Slide. I did not to mess with it for I know it is part of the gun.

Love my sd9. Front sight slightly to the right, causing me to hit a lil left. Should be an easy fix with a sight pusher. Other than that, great firearm

Never had a problem with mine,I don't mind the way the trigger is msde ,doesn't detract from the accuracy at all and it's never faltered. Great little hand gun for a novice or experienced shooter either.

So you really believe that? At this point, after reading reviews I dont know what to make of this gun..half the reviews say its an excellent, accurate, reliable gun, and the other half say it has an atrocious trigger, is woefully inaccurate, jams alot and feels cheap.

Seriously, the trigger is a “travesty” and “After a few dozen rounds your forearms will be aching”. If you can’t manipulate a 9-10 lb. trigger for more than a few dozen rounds you might seriously consider both gym and range memberships. Or maybe broaden your horizons a bit and learn different weapons platforms other than glock and 1911’s, The only “ostentatious babble” is in this review. And FYI I own a bone stock SW9VE which has a considerably rougher and grittier 9.5 lb. trigger than the new and much improved SDT on the SD9VE . For the novice/ inexperienced shooter who is looking for a serviceable home defense firearm, the sd9ve is an excellent choice. Also the consumer demographic that this pistol is targeted for, pun intended, are definitely not trigger snobs. They just need a serviceable, combat accurate pistol. And the SD9VE is certainly that.
