I own 6 Taurus hand Guns and never had a problem with any of them. The latest one is the TX 22 and I love it .I’m a Hobbyist shooter ,not ever day. After 20 plus yrs and retired from the military. You were limited what Army had to shoot, from the old M16,M16A1,AR15,M203,colt 45 and of course the M60 m60A1. Machine gun. With the Taurus family of hand gun it unlimited to me .I have other hand gun such as a Sig SR2022 , CZ P10F Block 19X all fun to shoot. But I love my Taurus two G2C’s ,Judge,605 ,Taurus tracker and my TX22. And I’m still expanding…

My son has one and loves it. I recently bought one, and like it so far. Only about 250 rounds fired so far, but zero malfuctions using several different kinds of ammo. Seems to group best with Mini mags or Aguila high velocity, but will function with anything. Haven’t tried CCI Standard velocity yet.

I’ve owned and shot almost every semi-auto there is. This TX-22 has a far better trigger, than most of the 9mm I’ve shot. Feeds just about everything there is. As a caveat, I, personally would not advise this for a self-defense EDC firearm. It’s a good shooter, and would be excellent as a firearm used for training purposes.

Have several .22 handguns, looks like I’ll buy 1 more. Havent seen one at any gun shops near me yet.
I actually think a .22 would suffice for self defense, but I wouldn’t trust those finicky rimfires to go off, with my life. Always a few that have to be hit twice.
