Considering one of these in 40 due to same caliber in pistol. Been watching the reviews and complaints for a while. Seems to me that the hotter the caliber the better it functions? Would like to know if others are experiencing this or not. Maybe the feed failures are from shooting too slow or soft of a round?? Needs more "oomph" to cycle proper, I don't know. Also seems to me that a carbine AR style would be just as simple - that is, two take down pins and it goes into your back pack too (think 16" barrels or shorter). Also seems like a faster assembly, shove in two pins on the AR and your ready. This one you have to align a barrel, screw on the holding nut and then your ready. Of course the AR would have more bulky ammo to carry though. Pro's and con's all around.

I bought a .40 s&w Aero Survival Rifle. I had to send it back because the charging handle, bolt, broke off and damaged the upper receiver. I may have had the buffer tube back too far. Not sure. They sent me a new one and it works great. The only problem I have with it is sometimes it doesn"t feed the rounds. I plan on polishing the feed ramp which will solve that problem. I have shot approximately 500 rounds through it. It is a neat little rifle that is easy to disassemble. I like the .40 s&w round and that is a lot of the reason that I bought one.

Tons of fail to ejects. Even sent it back and still occurs. Have a super slow mo of it failing to toss brass. Took repeated nagging to get them to even take it back and “fix” it
