I’ve had my Bushmaster XM-15 E2S now for 4 years and no problems at all with it. I have put a number of boxes of rounds (both .223 and .556) and never a problem whatsoever. I have modified it to include a number of Magpul accessories and I also added a Holosun Greendot sight also. Couldn’t be happier by the looks, reliability, accuracy and performance.

In reply to Walleye. Don't know who tripped your trigger, but when the guy at the range next to me with the $2000 AR has problems, I just ask, how did that failure to feed feel? No thank you, I'll keep my tried and true Bushmaster.

Bushmaster guns are pieces of junk and the company does not honor their warranty if you are the 2nd owner. Furthermore, their limited warranty is only good for 2 years after the date of mfg. So it’s very possible for you to buy a NIB gun from a FFL dealer that was built 2 years ago, but with no warranty. Their guns are very fragile and susceptible to breaking, and CANNOT be repaired! If you are offered buy one, simply laugh at the seller, tell them good luck, and move on. Cheers!

I purchased my Bushmaster A4 in 2017 It reminds me of my issued weapon. It had many of the features I was looking for especially the chromed lined heavy barrel. I don’t know exactly how many rounds have went through the pipe but I think it’s fair to estimate better than 2000. I do own other AR’s with free float handguards but I’m kinda old school so the hand guards and iron sights are what I was trained on. I have total confidence that if the shtf I could rely on my Bushmaster and am willing to bet my life on it. I take very good of my weapons so they will take care of me if and when it’s necessary.ive never had a ftf or a fte. I thinks it’s a lot of weapon for the price and would definitely recommend it and would buy it again.

Great review. I wish I had read it before I purchased mine…would have made me more intrigued as I handled it at the Gun show. As it stands, I have experience from a tour in Iraq using the full auto feature. Very fun indeed. Thanks again for taking time to share.
