I just bought a Benelli Super Vinci from a friend. He said it only had 5 shots through it . I took it out today with fifty rounds of 3 inch. The gun worked great with no problems. Never owned a Benelli before but i will now. Best 800 dollars I've ever spent.

Both shotguns use the Benelli QuadraFit modular system so I think it should work, but it's best to speak with a Benelli rep directly.

I have a 3" Vinci with 24" barrel and APG camo. I bought the gun this year for duck season. I have almost 3 cases of shells through it with 0 problems and 1 case of that is bulk federal $20/100 rnds. The gun has cycled every time, not skipping a beat in the field and in the marshes, I love it.

What I want to know, will the Super Vinci trigger/handguard module fit the regular Vinci? Thats where most of the gripes are with the Vinci. If your never gonna shoot 3.5" shells you shouldnt have to buy a 3.5" gun to get better ergonomics. For anyone who's considered it though, there is plenty of meat behind the trigger guard that can be milled out to relieve space for those with the finger smacking issue although I don't recommend chopping on a $1200 gun with a router bit. My only personal gripe is Id like the standard buttstock to have a more vertical grip to it.

The Vinci line is awesome but it seems like innovation has come to a halt as its been 10 years since inception with no real advancements or aftermarket support minus chokes and a couple options for magazine extensions.

Benellis are usually covered under a 10-year limited warranty, I'd reach out to them and see if they will repair/replace your firearm.

I would 100 agree with you, where in the advertising does it mention that I will need to buy 2 or 300 pounds worth of Magnum shells (That I don't use in my normal shooting) before my brand new gun will work properly !!! ???? WTF !!

I had a Beretta extrema 2 that fired anything and everything straight out of the box for years and NEVER jammed once and I also bought a cheap Hatsan Escort that also never missed a beat despite several thousand rounds going through it.

I've just sent my Super Vinci back for "Jamming" issues and I am so disappointed, wish I'd never sold my Berretta.

We're thrilled it worked out for you! Hope you enjoy it in good health.
Would you also recommend the Quake Claw Contour Sling?

Your write-up is spot-on. I bought my Super Vinci when I saw it for $1,329.00 at Gander Mountain's going-out-of-business sale in September 2017. Mine is in Realtree Max-5 (another Gander Mountain had the black version for $989 - but I just couldn't justify buying it, even though I REALLY considered it).

I added the Quake CLAW Contour sling to it and couldn't be happier with the entire set-up. I wasn't able to initially break it in - I was invited to go shoot sporting clays with a buddy, so against my better judgment, I took my new shotgun and purchased two boxes of shells at the range. However, the shells were 2 3/4" high brass rated at 1,300 fps. The gun functioned flawlessly.

Opening duck weekend saw a steady diet of 3" Super X's. Three of us had semi-autos, and two were using pumps. The Super Vinci was the only gun that had zero issues besides one of the pump action shotguns. The autos were jamming and the other pump wouldn't always fire.

To say I couldn't be happier with my purchase would be an understatement. I look forward to using it a lot more in the future.

I have a hard time seeing where the money is in this shotgun. The whole point of the Inertia system is the low cost of manufacturing compared to any gas system or long recoil. Then they want me to spend a couple hundred more dollars on premium ammo just to break it in? Why doesn't Benelli break it in before they ship it if that's what it needs to function? My Citori and SX2 worked perfectly right out of the box, seem like better values. And those so called "cheap" shells? Those are a staple for those of us who shoot a couple hundred rounds a week on the skeet and sporting clay fields.
