Just ordered one of the SPX models chambered in 22lr. I'm very new to shooting (in my early 30s and my father never taught me how to shoot, bummer). It seems as though this particular product was designed for folks like me who want to get into shooting with an affordable rifle with ample safety features.

I'm also on the shorter side, so the adjustable stock is a huge plus for me. The muzzle break is neat because it looks to offer a bit of clearance when pulling out magazine rod. It's still potentially dangerous, but not as much as being at risk of losing one's fingertips down range.

Believe or not, I don't mind the look of the SPX variant. Sure, it lacks the elegance and romance of lever action rifle of old and present. However, it is definitely a unique look for whatever that's worth. I'm pragmatist at heart and just need something that works so that way I can learn and train. Thanks for the review, it convinced me to give this one a go.

Thank you for the review. Perhaps the SPX is useful...I dunno. In my opinion it looks like a Winchester with prosthetics.
