I got my m3000 with 24" barrel end of last fruit season..
As a bird shooter over Cherrys & grapes..here in New Zealand
, I needed a good solid work gun. The m3000 ticked all the boxes .
Now halfway through this season & nearly 3000 rounds later. I'm pleased with my choice.
Useing 28 gram loads..the ammunition is both cheep and dirty..the inertia driven bolt runs cleaner than my work mates gas piston driven shotgun.
But like any shot gun likes to be kept clean. & cleaning is a breeze with less parts.
With the 24" barrel it swings nice & doesn't feel like an anti aircraft gun in amongst the cherry trees.
Over all I'm very pleased with it .& would recommend it to any one who wants a no nonsense reasonably priced shot gun , with a pedigree that's hard to beat.

I picked up a M3000 Sporter a few months ago. Hated the trigger, rough, felt like gravel, extreme over travel. You get the idea. Sent it to AO in Oregon, fantastic job, 4 Lb pull.
In shooting the first 200 rounds (1200 fps) cheep stuff, 3 FTEs. none since 2500 and counting. I do plan on having the ugly plastic stock and forend hydro-dipped in a nice wood grain. Also plan on Ti coating the trigger and hammer.
After getting it fitted with the proper shims, I now shoot high 70s to mid 80s on the clays coarse.
I would recommend this gun to anyone. For the price, I don't worry about it getting a bit torn up on the coarse.
